Each year we cast our vision forward and immerse ourselves in the tones, textures, elements and trends making waves for the seasons ahead.
As the new year begins we thought it would be the perfect time to share our 2019 interior design forecast with you so that you can create a space which feels fresh and inspiring each time you come home.
ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The Pantone 2019 Colour of the Year has officially been named asLiving Coral, which brings with it an energising shift and sense of playfulness to your interiors. Style this upbeat hue into your home alongside crisp whites and neutral tones for a brighter palette.
ORGANIC CURVES
The one trend we see leading the way for interiors in 2019 is organic shapes which redefine traditional silhouettes. The re-emergence of 1970s-inspired curved furniture can be effortlessly styled into your interiors which makes it a future-proof investment for timeless style. Our favourite ways to incorporate this trend is through tables, sofas and ceramic vases.
A SUSTAINABLE SHIFT
Our focus has always been on creating timeless furniture which is imprinted with care and a deep respect for natural resources and communities. We’re inspired to see an increased shift towards furniture with purpose and people investing in sustainable furniture which is designed to last a lifetime.
LAYERING TEXTURES
We’ve always had a love for layering textures and tones to create a unique and inviting look, especially when styling the bedroom. In 2019, we see interiors embracing layers of warmth by styling 100% linen materials, unique timber accents, textured ceramics and woven accessories to create a consciously designed space.
