We sit down with Sara Crampton the creator behind the blog, Harper & Harley to discuss her effortless style, home essentials and to find out what she has planned for the year ahead.
What does home mean to you?
Home is my sanctuary. It’s my safe place and is completely sacred to me and the ones I love.
What are your essentials for creating a calm and relaxing space to come home to?
Start with a colour palette that makes you relax. For me, this is light neutrals tones and timber finishes. Another important step is getting rid of any clutter. When everything is fresh and clutter free I really enjoy the space and never want to leave.
What is your favourite Totem Road piece in your home?
I love our Totem Stool. It brings character and texture to our living room.

How will you be celebrating Christmas this year?
We’ll be celebrating Christmas in Queensland, surrounded my family. If all goes to plan it’s usually filled with croissants, champagne, prawns, a swim in the pool and a nap.
Are there any interior design looks for 2019 that you're loving?
I love curved archways and marble with a lot of personality. We’ll be renovating our bathrooms next year so I’m currently collecting a lot of inspiration for this project.
Is there anything exciting you have coming up that you can share with us?
My husband and I will be renovating our home in 2019. We’re in no rush, and it’s been nice to slowly work out our joined personal style, which has natural elements like wood and timber at its core.
