Structural Warranty for Furniture 

Period of warranty from date of purchase: 5 Years

Consumer Guarantees:

We warrant that Totem Road’s goods will be supplied in accordance with Australian standards implied by law.  If the goods do not meet these standards and they cannot be replaced or repaired by us at first instance, we will refund you the full cost of the goods. 

Conditions:

Totem Road’s warranties do not apply to:

Industrial or commercial use of Totem’s Road’s goods that exceed normal wear and tear.

Environmental conditions which affect the performance and appearance of your furniture, causing changes such as shrinkage, expansion, bowing, splitting and colour change.

Defects or damage resulting 
from negligence, abuse or misuse, including (but not limited to) inadequate or improper maintenance, exposure to water, direct sunlight, salt air, chemicals, accidents, any use for which the product was not designed, nor does it cover ordinary wear-and-tear.

Any failure by you to follow the Totem Road Care Instructions or manufacturer’s instructions or specifications including any disassembly and reassembly by you.

If a product is relocated from its original delivery location by transporters not approved by Totem Road or the relocation causes damage due to improper packaging and transporting.

Any furniture which has been exposed to Extreme Use (Extreme Use is damage caused by more than ‘normal wear and tear;’ or spills such as acid, solvents, dyes, or other corrosive materials, ink, paint or body fluids; moisture of any kind, improper cleaning techniques or placing furniture outdoors, in close proximity to heat or in direct sunlight).

Any work or installation carried out on the item by a contractor or third party not approved in writing by Totem Road.

Any seconds or discounted goods purchased from the Totem Road Outlet are not covered under this warranty.

Any goods for which you cannot supply a valid invoice and proof of payment.
