OUTLET Terms & Conditions

Please note that all Outlet product sales are final. No exchanges, returns, or warranties will be offered. Once purchased, the item is considered yours and we are no longer liable for it. This policy is reflected in the pricing of our outlet items, so please choose carefully.

At Totem Road, we honour our commitment to sustainability by ensuring nothing goes to waste. Our Outlet Store features ex-floorstock, samples, and unique pieces that may show signs of use. Each item is of the same high quality as our core range and is carefully noted with any wear or marks. Pricing is final as marked. Condition Guide:

Brand New & Unboxed - New item, never used, without original packaging.

Discontinued - New item in box. Part of our discontinued collection and will no longer be restocked.

Good - Minimal signs of wear, such as small scuffs or surface marks.

Fair - Visible signs of use including scratches or blemishes, clearly noted in the description.

Sample - Used for display, photoshoots or short-term loan.

Every outlet piece is still designed to last a lifetime, crafted from solid oak, made mindfully, and rich in character.

BidIt Terms Of Sale

1. About these terms. These terms govern your use of Bidit's offer functionality on the Totem Road website at www.totemroad.com. They apply in addition to Totem Road's standard Terms of Sale. To the extent of any inconsistency, Totem Road's Terms of Sale prevail except where these Bidit Terms specifically address the offer process.

2. What Bidit is. Bidit is a transaction service operated by Bidit Pty Ltd (ACN 691 094 372) that allows customers to submit private offers on selected products. Bidit evaluates each offer against rules configured by Totem Road and returns a response in real time. Bidit is a technology infrastructure for the offer process. Bidit does not sell goods, hold goods, take payment, or act as the merchant of record.

3. Who you're contracting with. When you complete payment at checkout for an order placed through Bidit, a contract of sale is formed between you and Totem Road for the relevant product at the agreed price. Bidit is not a party to that contract. Totem Road is responsible for: supplying the goods; processing your payment via Totem Road’s checkout; honouring Totem Road’s standard delivery, returns, refunds, warranty, and customer service policies; and all obligations as the seller under Australian Consumer Law and any other applicable law.

4. Submitting an offer and forming a contract. Submitting an offer through Bidit is a request to purchase the relevant product at the price you offer. If Bidit accepts your offer (or you accept a counteroffer), the price is agreed, and you may proceed to checkout at that price. A binding contract of sale is formed when you complete payment at checkout under Totem Road’'s standard Terms of Sale — not when your offer is accepted by Bidit. If your offer is declined, no price is agreed. If you do not complete checkout within Totem Road's standard cart timeout after your offer is accepted, the agreed price may lapse, and you will need to submit a new offer to purchase the product at a Bidit price. Totem Road may apply cooldown periods or other limits on repeat offers.

5. Pricing. Totem Road sets minimum acceptable prices and offer rules per product. These minimum prices are not disclosed to customers. Each accepted price is private and unique to the offer that was accepted. There is no public "Bidit price" for any product, and the fact that one customer's offer was accepted at a particular price does not entitle any other customer to the same price. Totem Road may change the rules at any time. Submitting an offer at a previously accepted price does not guarantee acceptance.

6. Payment. If your offer is accepted, payment is processed through Totem Road's standard checkout. Bidit does not handle, hold, or process payment from customers. Totem Road's payment terms apply.

7. Cancellations, returns, refunds and exchanges. Totem Road's standard cancellation, returns, refund, and exchange policy applies to all orders made through Bidit, on the same basis as any other order. For the avoidance of doubt: the price refunded for a returned product purchased through Bidit is the price actually paid (the agreed Bidit price), not the listed price; where Australian Consumer Law guarantees apply (including the right to a refund for a major failure), those rights are not affected by these terms or by the fact that the purchase was made through Bidit; and returns and refunds are processed by Totem Road, not Bidit. All return enquiries should be directed to Totem Road's customer service.

8. Eligibility. Bidit is available only on products that Totem Road has enabled for offers. The set of Bidit-enabled products may change at any time. The absence of a Bidit prompt on a product means that product is not currently available for offers. Bidit may not be available in all jurisdictions where Totem Road ships.

9. Errors. If a price is offered or accepted in error , including obvious pricing errors caused by a system fault or misconfiguration, Totem Road may cancel the affected order and refund any payment received, in line with Totem Road's standard policy on pricing errors.

10. Privacy and data. When you submit an offer, Bidit processes the limited information needed to evaluate it and link it to your order with Totem Road. This includes the offer details (product, price, time), your interaction with the Bidit prompt, and the resulting order reference. Totem Road handles your customer data under Totem Road's privacy policy. Bidit handles the offer-related data it processes on Totem Road's behalf in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Bidit Privacy Policy at https://www.bidit.com.au/privacy-policy

11. Disputes. Any dispute about an order, including delivery, product condition, returns, refunds, warranty, or consumer guarantee claims, is between you and Totem Road and is handled under Totem Road's customer service and dispute processes. If you believe you have experienced a technical issue with the Bidit offer process specifically (for example, the Bidit prompt did not appear or did not accept your input), please contact Totem Road's customer service team, who will escalate to Bidit on your behalf.

12. Changes. Totem Road may update these terms at any time. The version in force at the time you submit an offer applies to that offer.

13. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any non-excludable consumer guarantee under Australian Consumer Law.

14. Contact. For questions about an order, contact Totem Road customer service. For questions about Bidit specifically, contact support@bidit.com.au
